Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing) raised $61,360 during the 4th quarter of 2019 and now has $147,204 cash-on-hand.
The three-term congresswoman’s fundraising numbers are fine for a district that is safe Democratic, but a little on the light side after winning a seat the influential House Appropriations Committee – typically an assignment that becomes a cash cow for incumbents.
Watson Coleman raised $282,967 in 2019.
She is also carrying a small debt of $7,550.
The Republican candidate is expected to be Old Bridge councilman Mark Razzoli, who switched to the GOP last year after losing a Democratic primary for mayor.
Razzoli has not yet filed is year-end report with the Federal Election Commission.
Watson Coleman was re-elected to her 12th district seat with 69% of the vote in 2018.
