Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing) raised $66,280 in the last weeks of June and now has $210,259.40 in her war chest as she moves into the general election for a seat Democrats have held since 1999.

The new numbers bring Watson Coleman’s fundraising total for her bid for a fourth term to $542,385.95.

Second-quarter Federal Election Commission filings submitted by Mark Razzoli, Watson Coleman’s Republican challenger, are not yet available, and the challenger did not submit a pre-primary report.

The district is safely Democratic, and Razzoli had raised just $3,065.20 by the end of March.

There are 141,669 more Democrats than Republicans in the 12th district. In 2018, Watson Coleman defeated Republican challenger Daryl Kipnis by 37 points.
