A super PAC with close ties to former Gov. Chris Christie has reported an additional $754,555 in spending with a media placement firm, according to reports field last week with the Federal Election Commission.

The group, Integrity NJ, had announced on September 19 that it was putting more money behind an attack attacking U.S. Senator Bob Menendez in the New York media market.

Christie is supporting one of his campaign fundraisers, Bob Hugin, for the Senate seat.

Integrity NJ is headed by Phil Cox and Pete Sheridan, both of whom have close ties to Christie.

Cox, the group’s chairman and senior advisor, was executive director of the Republican Governors Association when Christie was chairman of the group. He also headed America Leads, a super PAC founded to back Christie’s 2016 presidential run.

Sheridan, formerly the executive director of the New Jersey GOP, worked on both of Christie’s gubernatorial campaigns and served on Christie’s transition out of the governorship. Sheridan is the PAC’s executive director.

According to the FEC report, Integrity NJ also paid $35,500 in media placement commissions to Mottola Consulting and $44,375 in commissions to Pinpoint Media, a firm partly owned by Cox.
