Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Ringoes) has been endorsed by the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers Transportation Division.
“The SMART Transportation Division stands fully behind Congressman Malinowski,” said Ron Sabol, the New Jersey Legislative Director for the SMART Transportation Division. “Since day one he has stood behind our workers while fighting to ensure New Jersey receives necessary funding for our state’s infrastructure.”
As a member of the House Transportation Committee, Malinowski has spent his first two years in Congress advocating for federal funding of the Gateway Project and Portal North Bridge replacement.
The freshman congressman said he “won’t rest until commuters have the 21st century infrastructure they deserve.”
Malinowski was endorsed earlier this week by the New Jersey State Building & Construction Trades Council.
He faces State Senate Minority Leader Thomas Kean, Jr. in the general election.
