The Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 32 endorsed Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton) for a second term Wednesday.

“OPEIU Local 32 is proud to endorse Congressman Andy Kim’s reelection campaign. Andy is a champion for working people who has delivered exactly what he promised- a terrific record working for our community,” union business manager Bill Henning said. “He has visited every corner of New Jersey’s Third District, working with people whether they voted for him or not. Andy is leading the charge in the response to the coronavirus, and OPEIU Local 32 is standing right with him.”

The union represents roughly 6,000 public- and private-sector employees from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Kim faces a challenge from former Hill International CEO David Richter in his bid for a second term.

“OPEIU Local 32 is a hallmark of our community here in New Jersey. I’m proud to have their support,” Kim said. “I work every day for the people of this community, and I’m honored that organized labor has my back as we take our fight back to Washington.”
