Norcross has $1.6 million warchest

Rep. Donald Norcross (D-Camden), who in unopposed for renomination in the 1st district Democratic primary, has $1,604,607 cash-on-hand after raising $45,985 between March 1 and June 17.

Norcross has raised $1,607,378 this cycle and has spent $933,620.

His Republican opponent, former Collingswood school board member Claire Gustafson, reported banking $750 at the end of last year after raising $2,250.  She hasn’t filed with the Federal Election Commission since her year-end 2019 report.

Norcross has boxed out potential primary rivals by securing early endorsements from key statewide progressive leaders, including Gov. Phil Murphy, New Jersey CWA state director Hetty Rosenstein, and NJEA president Marie Blistan.
