Mehta, Gibbs will bracket in Ocean

By David Wildstein, March 31 2020 11:22 pm

U.S. Senate candidate Rik Mehta and congressional candidate Kate Gibbs will bracket together in Ocean County, the New Jersey Globe has learned.

Their opponents are doing the same thing.

U.S. Senate candidate Hirsh Singh and congressional candidate David Richter, will bracket together in Burlington County, where Mehta and Gibbs have the organization line.

Singh and Richter won upset victories at the Ocean County GOP convention after the screening committee voted to recommend Mehta and Gibbs.

Mehta and Singh are competing to run against incumbent Cory Booker.

Gibbs and RIchter are seeking the GOP nod to take on freshman Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton).
