Maggie’s List backs Gibbs

A political action committee created to boost conservative women running for political office endorsed former Burlington County Freeholder Director Kate Gibbs for Congress Wednesday.

Maggie’s List backed Gibbs, citing her conservative stance on budget issues.

“We know that COVID-19 is first and foremost a healthcare crisis, but it is also an economic crisis,” said Gibbs. “Now more than ever, it’s important that we have leaders who can have a keen eye on bringing our economy back online while keeping our fiscal house in order. I’m grateful for the endorsement of Maggie’s List which believes my experience and commitment to fiscal responsibility make me the right leader for this important time in our country’s history.”

Gibbs faces former Hill International CEO David Richter in her bid to take on Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton).
