Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton) landed a handful of new union endorsements Monday.

The first-term congressman received the backing of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air & Rail Transportation Workers, the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, Local 28 and the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey.

“We’re proud to endorse Congressman Andy Kim for reelection and we look forward to continuing our work together,” PFANJ President Steve McConlogue said. “When he first ran for Congress, Andy gave us his commitment to supporting our members and he has held true to that promise.”

Kim faces former Hill International CEO David Richter in his bid for a second term in a district that delivered New Jersey Democrats their narrowest win of the cycle in 2018.

“The Boilermakers Labor Force here in New Jersey are proud to give Andy and his team our full endorsement for re-election so that he may continue the hard work and effort that he gives in making his district and our state a better place to live and raise our families,” Boilermakers Local 28 business manager and treasurer James Chew Jr. said.
