Tamara Harris put another $150,000 into her bid for the Democratic nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th district and is spending about $100,000 on a new TV ad that touts her achievements and her opposition to President Donald Trump.
“I’m a real Democrat, upset about how money has polluted politics,” Harris says to the camera. “We can dump Trump, his tweets, and drain his swamp.”
Harris has already put $100,000 into her campaign. She faces front-runner Mikie Sherrill, a former Navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, Alison Heslin, Mark Washburne and Mitchell Colbert in the June 5 primary.
