Gabby Giffords’ gun group endorses Lance

Giffords, the gun-safety organization founded by former Rep. Gabby Giffords, on Friday endorsed Rep. Leonard Lance over former assistant Secretary of State Tom Malinowski.

“[Lance’s] leadership will be critical for our next victories in Congress to save lives and prevent future tragedies. Giffords is proud to endorse Representative Leonard Lance, who has the courage to stand up to the corporate gun lobby and who will never stop working to make New Jersey communities safer,” the former congresswoman said.

The organization has endorsed only three Republicans this year.
