State Sen. Kristin Corrado backed former investment banker Frank Pallotta for the Republican nod in the fifth congressional district Thursday.
“I am proud to announce my formal endorsement of Frank Pallotta for Congress in the upcoming July 7, 2020 primary election,” Corrado said. “Frank has the necessary experience and skills to be an effective and credible voice for our residents in Washington. His collaborative problem-solving strategy and understanding of business from Wall Street to Main Street make him the candidate we need to serve us in the House of Representatives.”
Pallotta faces former Cresskill Councilman John McCann and Montvale Mayor Mike Ghassali in his bid to take on Rep. Josh Gottheimer.
“It is my sincere honor to receive Senator Kristin Corrado’s endorsement in my quest to secure the Republican nomination for Congress,” Pallotta said. “Senator Corrado is an ardent supporter of conservative values and dedicated public servant whose credentials as a legislator and attorney are beyond reproach. She is a proven winner and visionary leader, taking a fearless role in co-chairing the Senate’s select committee on sexual assault in the workplace and fighting for expansion of veteran services.”
