Hardwick Township Committeeman Jim Perry endorsed former investment banker Frank Pallotta for Congress Friday.
“I am proud to endorse our friend Frank Pallotta as a true political outsider who is ready to take on the Pelosi-Gottheimer machine this November,” Perry said. “Josh Gottheimer forgot about Warren County in our time of need during the COVID19 pandemic, and we, too, will forget about him come November. Frank has proven to be a true steward of our communities through his consistent outreach and concern for our well-being. I know he will serve our District with distinction in Washington.”
Pallotta faces former Cresskill Councilman John McCann in his bid to challenge Rep. Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff), who is seeking a third term in Congress this year.
Perry also serves as president of the New Jersey League of Municipalities.
“I am honored to receive the support of a distinguished leader like Mayor Jim Perry. His vote of confidence is particularly meaningful to me because there are few people better situated to understand the needs of municipalities than Jim,” Pallotta said. “I am looking forward to giving our communities a true voice in Congress – and not the self-serving style of ‘representation’ that has marked the unfortunate legacy of Josh Gottheimer’s time in Washington.”
