Update on 10/31/2020: Democrat Christine Conforti ended her campaign with $332 and since terminated her campaign committee, according to amended reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

House candidate Christine Conforti ended her campaign for the fourth congressional district’s Democratic nomination $2,981.21 in the red.

Between June 18 and June 30, Conforti raised just $1,380, bringing her second-quarter fundraising total to $13,496.18.

But the candidate reported spending more money than she had in both her pre-primary and July quarterly filings.

Democratic nominee Stephanie Schmid defeated Conforti in the primary to take on Rep. Chris Smith (R-Hamilton) last Tuesday.
