Allen, Stanfield to lead women backing Gibbs

By Nikita Biryukov, April 23 2020 12:01 pm

Former State Sen. Diane Allen and Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield will lead a group of Republican women backing Kate Gibbs for the Republican nod in the third congressional district.

“Kate has proven throughout the years that she is dedicated to improving her community and putting service before self. So, it’s no surprise that so many other local community leaders are joining together in support of her candidacy for Congress,” the two honorary chairwomen said. “We are honored to be a part of Women for Kate and look forward to helping each of the county and municipal chairs create their own successful Women for Kate networks in every community across the Third Congressional District.”

The Women for Kate initiative will seek to digitally organize residents in Burlington and Ocean Counties ahead of the July 7 primary against former Hill International CEO David Richter.

“I am so thankful for all the support I have received throughout this campaign, especially the palpable enthusiasm from women of all ages, throughout the district. The Women for Kate team continues to grow every day and their excitement and dedication truly energizes me,” said Kate Gibbs. “I am honored to have so many passionate female leaders on my team and have no doubt they will play a critical role throughout this historic race.”
