Norcross, Florio host General Majority PAC fundraiser

Democratic powerhouse George E. Norcross III will headline a virtual fundraiser for his super PAC, the General Majority PAC, next month.

Former Gov. Jim Florio will join Norcross as the host of the event.

Florio’s law partner, former Republican State Chairman Doug Steinhardt, had been a candidate for the GOP gubernatorial nomination until his surprise withdrawal last month.

The invitation to the $2,500-per-person event carries the names of the entire 18-member South Jersey legislative delegation, including Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald.

The General Majority PAC has enabled Norcross and his political allies to spend heavily on legislative races in South Jersey and throughout the state.
