New Jersey voter turnout over 15% so far, and growing

By David Wildstein, October 13 2020 12:16 pm

The ballots of 921,761 New Jersey voters have been recorded as received by county election officials, according to numbers released by the state Division of Elections.

That represents a 15.45% voter turnout.

These numbers represent a trend in the state, but is unlikely to be an exact number.

Bergen County shows 62,067 ballots received, but the New Jersey Globe has learned that more than 100,000 Bergen County ballots have come in.

In Mercer County, numbers from the state show just 2,042 ballots.

Numbers reflect only ballots that were recorded as received and not the exact number of votes that have been cast.
