John Rendzia III, a junior at The College of New Jersey, and Sydney Nelson, a junior at Stockton University, have been elected co-chairs of the New Jersey Federation of College Republicans, according to a release.
Rendzia first assumed the chairmanship last April and became the first chair in the organization’s history to be elected for a second term. Nelson will be the first woman to serve as chair in the group’s history.
Jake Pino of Montclair State University was elected vice chair and Mark Volpe of Monmouth University was elected treasurer. Alexander “AJ” DiFalco of The College of New Jersey was elected secretary, and Michael “MJ” Joseph was elected national committeeman.
The federation appointed Tyler Murnaghan of Stockton University, Natalie Bovair of Drew University, and Zoey Wong of Rowan University as official liaisons to Turning Point USA, the Young Republican Federation of New Jersey, and the New Jersey High School Republicans, respectively.
New Jersey GOP Chairwoman Christine Hanlon, NJGOP Vice Chair Pavel Sokolov, U.S. Senate candidates Justin Murphy and Alex Zdan, 11th congressional district Republican nominee Joe Hathaway, and Assemblyman Greg Myhre (R-Stafford) attended the convention.
