Mayor Erin Mangan and local first aid squad member and Johnson & Johnson executive Jonathan Syby have won the Republican nomination for two seats on the Wall Township Committee, defeating the incumbent deputy mayor.
Mangan leads with 1,330 votes, followed by Syby with 1,326 votes, and Deputy Mayor Daniel Becht trails with 591 votes.
No Democrats filed to run in the general election. Wall is a strongly Republican town: Donald Trump carried the township by more than 23 points last year.
