Democrats Juanita Hyman and Tamika Gilbert-Floyd unseated Republican committee members Laura Pfrommer and Paul Hodson, and Democrat Anthony Calandrillo defeated Republican Patrick Ireland for a one-year unexpired term, sweeping all three Egg Harbor Township Committee seats on the ballot and ending the GOP’s 4-1 majority.

Hyman received 9,072 votes; Gilbert-Floyd received 9,049, compared with 7,676 for Pfrommer and 7,650 for Hodson. In the unexpired-term race, Calandrillo received 9,007 votes to 7,553 for Ireland.

Gilbert-Floyd and Hyman are both members of the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education. The township has remained competitive in recent statewide and national elections.

Donald Trump carried Egg Harbor Township by five percentage points in 2024, while Gov. Mikie Sherrill won it by four points in 2025.
