New Jersey Globe editor David Wildstein joins Dianne Doctor on New Jersey Now on Sunday, December 6 at 12 PM to talk about legislative and congressional redistricting.
New Jersey’s 12 congressional districts will be redrawn for the 2022 elections to reflect the 2020 U.S. Census.
The state’s 40 legislative districts will be redrawn for 2023, unless the U.S. Census certifies the numbers before February 15, 2021. If that happens – the census bureau has signaled that it’s unlikely – the new map will go into effect next year.
