Ocean County Commissioner Jennifier Bacchione endorsed Bill Spadea for governor Monday, according to a release.
Deputy County Clerk John Catalano, a former assemblyman, also endorsed the former radio host. Ocean County Commissioner Rob Arace previously endorsed Spadea but repeated his support on Monday.
“We believe that Bill’s performance in the debate makes it abundantly clear that he is the best choice for Governor,” Bacchione said on behalf of the group. “Bill has shown up for the people of Ocean County time and time again and we know that he will continue to do so as Governor.”
Ocean County Republican Chair George Gilmore has already endorsed Spadea. A trio of Ocean County GOP legislators, including state Sen. Carmen Amato (R-Berkeley), endorsed the conservative radio personality last month.
“Ocean County is my adopted political home,” Spadea said. “Jodi and I have spent countless hours on the trail in Ocean County and campaigning alongside candidates as we have gone door to door with them. We’re grateful for their support and look forward to hitting the ground again soon to continue our conversations with Ocean County voters!”
