New Jersey likes Dr. Anthony Fauci, a new Rutgers-Eagleton poll shows.
Fauci., the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, gets an A grade on his handling of the coronavirus pandemic from 44% of New Jerseyans, with 31% giving him a B, 15% a C, 4% a D, and 6% an F.
He gets an A from 53% of Democrats, 31% of independents, and 36% of Republicans.
Fauci has some ties to New Jersey. His wife, Christine Grady, grew up in Livingston. Her father, Democrat John H. Grady, was a former mayor who served on the Township Council from 1977 to 1985.
The Center for Disease Control gets at A from 19% of New Jerseyans, and a B from 31%.
