Hackensack Meridian Health has named Kenneth M. Esser, Jr., who served in the administrations of three governors, as their new vice president of corporate services and governance and chief of staff.
Esser joined the administration of Gov. James E. McGreevey in 2004 as a government relations aide at the Department of Community affairs. He was a senior policy advisor for economic growth at the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission under Gov. Dick Codey, and the chief energy advisor to Gov. Jon Corzine. Esser spent four years as business development manager at PSE&G before joining the Bergen County-based hospital in September.
The appointment was announced by Robert Garrett and John Lloyd, the co-CEO’s.
