Politics and Spice Podcast Launches Season Two; Hosts Cherry Hill Councilwoman Sangeeta Doshi as First Guest of New Season

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The New Jersey Leadership Program (NJLP) announced the official launch for season two of its podcast called “Politics and Spice.” The first guest of the new season is newly elected Cherry Hill Councilwoman Sangeeta Doshi, her interview can be found here.

Councilwoman Doshi discussed several current events and public policy topics including gun control following the aftermath of the Parkland shooting, protests and walkouts in Cherry Hill schools, and how the Cherry Hill primaries mirrored those of the 2016 Presidential Elections with Hillary and Bernie factions.

The first season of the Politics and Spice Podcast has featured elected officials, political operatives, media personalities and journalists, nonprofit leaders and fashion icons including Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr., Miss New Jersey Chhavi Verg, WNYC Reporter Arun Venugopal, Hillary Clinton’s National AAPI Outreach Director Jason Tengco, Vice President Dick Cheney’s Chief Policy Advisor Neil Patel and more.

The podcast runs every other Monday on a bi-monthly basis. Politics and Spice can be found on all major podcast providers including iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher and more.
