WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Tom MacArthur’s bipartisan legislation, the Regulation A+ Improvement Act, passed out of the House of Representatives.  This legislation raises the Regulation A exemption for security offerings which would allow growing companies to gain additional investors and increase their access to capital.

“Seven out of ten new jobs come from our nation’s 28 million small businesses,” said Congressman MacArthur. “This bipartisan legislation will help small companies grow and create more jobs and it will allow more Americans to invest in smaller, local companies.  It’s a win for everyone and as a lifelong businessman, I’m grateful I could introduce the legislation and see it pass the House.”

Representatives Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) cosponsored this legislation.
