New Hampshire poll has Christie at 1%

A poll that went into the field just one day after Chris Christie held a town hall meeting in New Hampshire now has the former New Jersey governor at one percent among Granite State Republicans in the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

Donald Trump leads Ron DeSantis by thirteen percentage points, 42%-39%, with New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu running third at 14% in a St. Anselm College New Hampshire Institute of Politics poll released this week.

Nikki Haley is in fourth place with 4%, followed by Vivek Ramaswamy (3%) and Liz Cheney (2%).

Christie shares the one-percent zone with Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, and Tim Scott.

The good news for Christie is that Kristi Noem polled at less than one percent, meaning he wasn’t last.

In 2016, Christie finished sixth in the New Hampshire Republican primary with 7.4% of the vote and no delegates.  He dropped out of the race the following day.

The poll has a margin of error of +/-4%.
