A news site covering business in New Jersey and its confluence with state politics, BINJE, launched this morning under the leadership and ownership of Tom Bergeron, formerly of ROI-NJ.
Since its launch in 2017, ROI-NJ had emerged as the premier business news publication in the state.
“BINJE will have what you have come to love from the editorial teams I have led over the past decade: Breaking news, stories with depth and context, coverage that comes with insightful analysis, and some fun reads to make your day,” Bergeron said. “And BINJE will bring you news in the way you’ve come to expect: Twice-daily emails, special print editions, networking events with the state’s top leaders, and panel discussions on the hot topics of the day.”
Linda Linder will serve as managing editor, and Heather Long will lead the sales team at BINJE – Business in New Jersey every day.
“Our aim is simple: To provide you with all the business news you need to succeed,” said Bergeron.
Bergeron had served as editor of NJBIZ, assistant managing editor at Yahoo!, and sports editor at the Star-Ledger.
