Here’s what you missed if you took the weekend off

Gov. Phil Murphy’s big Sunday tease: “Tomorrow at 1:00 PM, I will make a major announcement regarding our reopening efforts. As our key metrics improve and our vaccination progress continues, we’re ready to move forward.”

The polls are now closed for a vote by staffers from three Gannett-owned newspapers to form a union.  Ballots will be counted by the National Labor Relations Board

None of the three front page stories in the Sunday Bergen Record were current: one was two days old, another from three days ago, and the last one had first appeared on the NorthJersey.com website five days ago.

House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. joined host David Wildstein on the New Jersey Globe Power on Talk Radio 77 WABC on Saturday to discuss his bill to require the federal government to negotiate prescription drug prices.
