Brandon Bernier has launched his bid for re-election to a second time on the Roselle Borough Council.  The 2nd Ward Democrat is a project engineer for EIC Systems, an engineering firm that designs automated test equipment.

“We’re all here trying our best to build a better Borough, and we can certainly do more together than we can do on our own. Knowing where the Borough has been and where we’re headed, I’ve never been more optimistic about the future of Roselle than I am today.” Bernier said.

Bernier defeated incumbent Carla Walker in the 2018 Democratic primary by 122 votes, 61%–39%.   He was unopposed in the general election.

He pointed to his as finance committee chairman, and a cost-savings measure that helped the borough save $2 million on health insurance.

“Three years ago, I promised a plan to bring positive change to Roselle, and now we’re starting to see what we’ve been able to accomplish together,” said Bernier.
