New Brunswick incumbents keep school board seats

Incumbents Diana Solis, Jennifer Sevilla and Edward Spencer were re-elected to the New Brunswick Board of Education on Tuesday.

Spencer was the top vote-getter with 344 votes, followed by Sevilla (336), and Solis (332).

They defeated challengers running on the Students First slate: Linda Stork (241), Jenifer Garcia Peleaz (204) and Matthew Rivera (199).

New Brunswick voters approved the annual school budget, 405 to 105, 79%-21%.
