Lumberton, a small Burlington County municipality whose local Democratic organization exudes toxicity, tossed two incumbents who had lost party support for re-election by a wide margin.

Amanda Smith (605) and Larry Larned (503) defeated incumbents Kendra Hatfield (448) and Robert Rodriguez (364).

Smith and Larned had the endorsement of the Township Committeewoman Gina LaPlaca, the Queen of Toxicity.

Smith is a security guard at the New Jersey Statehouse, and Larned is a Rancocas Valley High School teacher.

No Republicans field to run in the general election, although it’s unclear if there were any write-in votes cast in the race.
