A slate of Camden State Committee candidates backed by the county Democratic organization romped a slate of progressive challengers Tuesday.

The slate was led by South Jersey political operative Steve Ayscue and included former Camden Mayor Dana Redd, Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey President Harry Platt, Camden Health and Human Services employee Ian Mosley, Cherry Hill Democratic Municipal Co-Chair Meryl Greene and Karin Elkis, U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez’s deputy state director.

They defeated Kevin Barfield, Susan Druckenbrod, Lester Engels, Linda Rubiano, David Stahl and Caroline Wong.
