Ventnor attorney Stephen Dicht will be the Democratic nominee for Atlantic County Surrogate.
He defeated Levi Fox on Tuesday and will go on to face Republican incumbent James Curcio, who is seeking re-election to a third term.
The run is Dicht’s second for countywide office. In 2012, he ran for one of Atlantic County’s at-large freeholder seats but lost to Republican Frank Formica by 5,105 votes, a 26-point margin.
