By David Wildstein, January 06 2020 9:09 am

Hilary Beckett has left her job as an aide to Gov. Phil Murphy to become the chief lobbyist for the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

Beckett served as cabinet liaison in the governor’s office, where she worked with the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Board of Public Utilities, Department of Environmental Protection, and the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.

She is a former chief of staff to State Sen. Troy Singleton (D-Delran).

“Hilary’s familiarity with the critical issues facing the South Jersey region, experience with Senator Singleton, and recent tenure in the Governor’s front office makes her the perfect new addition to the CCSNJ team,” said Christina Renna, the CCSNJ president and CEO.  “We look forward to continuing CCSNJ’s strong advocacy on behalf of the South Jersey business community with Hilary’s expertise and leadership.”
