State Sen. Andrew Zwicker (D-South Brunswick) raised $315,429 between June 24 and October 6, and spent$337,102, leaving him with $122,829 as of twelve days ago in his bid for a second term in Central Jersey’s 16th district.
A joint account with his running mates, Assemblyman Roy Freiman (D-Hillsborough) and former congressional aide Mitchelle Drulis, had $23,972 cash-in-hand a dozen days ago.
The Republican Senate candidate, former Rep. Michael Pappas, reported raising $67,583 and spending $65,150 during the same time period, with $21,007 cash-in-hand.
Pappas’ joint account with running mates Ross Traphagen, a Clinton councilman, and Grace Zhang, had $8,343 in cash.
Freiman, a three-term incumbent, raised $146,716 during the same period, spending $174,297; he has $74,718 cash-on-hand. Drulis reported raising $76,460 during the same time period and spending $132,977. She had $20,676 in her warchest.
Traphagen and Zhang’s individual reports were not available.
Zwicker won the Senate seat in 2021, defeating Pappas by nearly seven percentage points.
These numbers are twelve days old and represent just a snapshot of time.
