Cumberland County Republican Chairman Michael Testa wants State Sen. Bob Andrzejczak to say where he stands on impeachment.
“The socialists in Congress have been looking for an excuse to impeach President Trump since he was sworn-in to office, and today they settled for secondhand gossip as reason to plunge our country into a constitutional crisis,” Testa said. “Undoubtedly, Governor Murphy and the radical liberals running Trenton will jump on board and prove once and for all that the New Jersey Democratic Party has gone off the deep end. I am curious as to whether my opponent, Senator Bob Andrzejczak, will join with them – like he does 95% of the time in Trenton – or will he oppose this impeachment inquiry and condemn his party as the far-left radicals they’ve become?”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal inquiry against President Donald Trump Tuesday.
Mickey Quinn, a spokesman for Andrzejczak’s campaign, told Testa to stick to state issues.
“Mike Testa should concern himself with his losing State Senate race,” Quinn said. “What a surprise – on the same day Testa and his team get hit with a clean sweep on endorsements from the leading pro-business PAC in the state, Temper Tantrum Testa stomps his feet on an issue which he knows full well is outside the purview of the office he’s running for.”
