The race for State Senate in the 25th district has narrowed since this morning, with Republican incumbent Anthony M. Bucco (R-Boonton) now leading Democrat Rupande Mehta by 1,284 votes.
Mehta picked up 309 votes in Morris County and now trails Bucco, 39,455 to 38,170, a 50.%-49.3% margin.
In the Assembly race, Democrat Darcy Draeger has expanded her lead over Republican incumbent Aura Dunn and now leads by 1,163 votes, 39,005 to 37,842 (50.8%-49.2%).
Democrat Cary Amaro now leads GOP incumbent Tayfun Selen by 5,854 votes. Amaro lost 26 votes from this morning, when her lead was 5,980.
She now leads Selen, 88,401 to 82,549.
