Regina Appolon, chief of staff to Assemblywoman Angela McKnight (D-Jersey City), is leaving her governmental post to join Princeton Public Affairs Group, the lobbying firm announced Tuesday.
“I already feel part of the team,” Appolon said. “Through my years working in the General Assembly, this group of professionals has always been a great partner in implementing policy. I look forward to bringing my expertise to the firm and their clients.”
Appolon began the new job Tuesday.
The former aide is Northern Vice President of the New Jersey Young Democrats, co-executive director of the Union County Young Democrats and a member of the NY/NJ Baykeeper board.
She also served as an 11th-district delegate during 2016’s Democratic National Convention.
“PPAG welcomes our latest team member,” PPAG founder Dale Florio said. “Regina’s professional background and her involvement in state affairs is a perfect fit for the firm’s pursuit of success on behalf of clients.”
