AFSCME State Director Steve Tully released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:

“LG Oliver was a fierce advocate for working people, and a lifetime public servant who was dedicated to making New Jersey a better place for all. We are honored to have had the opportunity to work so closely with her in an effort to keep New Jersey’s essential services running smoothly and efficiently for all residents and making the lives of working people better.  We will be keeping LG Oliver and her family closely in our thoughts during this very difficult time.”
