The Jewish Federations of New Jersey released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:
“On behalf of the Jewish Federations of New Jersey we wish to express our sadness at the loss of our Lt. Governor, Sheila Oliver.
Lt. Governor Oliver’s tireless dedication to public service and her unwavering commitment to equality and justice were inspiring to us all.
Throughout her tenure, Ms. Oliver demonstrated a remarkable ability to lead with compassion, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to bettering our community. We are ever grateful for her service. The Jewish Community lost a champion today. Thank you for everything.”
