Anna Russo, the wife of former State Sen. Anthony E. Russo, died on January 14. She was 95. She served as First Lady of Union Township during her husband’s multiple terms as mayor. Anthony Russo was elected to the State Senate in 1977 but lost his seat in 1981.
Theresa DiMasi, a former president of the Essex County Vocational and Technical Board of Education, died on January 18. She was 86.
William Campbell, a former chairman of the New Jersey State Investment Council and a pillar of the community in Bayonne, died on December 4. He was 83.
J. Michael Nolan, a former assistant Essex County Prosector, died on January 17. He was 72.
Peter Cerenzio, the first executive director of the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority, died on January 18. He was 74.
Anna Giudici, who worked as a secretary at Hoboken City Hall, died on January 15. She was 95.
