Marty Booth, a six-term member of the Fairview Board of Education and former school board president, died today.  He was 73.  Booth served many years as chairman of the Fairview Planning Board and a Democratic county committeeman from the 5th district.  He is the brother of former Fairview Police Chief Duke Booth and the uncle of Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Captain John Booth Jr.

Ronald McEachin, who spent twelve years with the Newark Department of Economic and Housing Development, died on May 4.  He was 76.  McEachin previously worked for the Federal Reserve Bank.

George Stanton, Jr., New Jersey’s first chief of occupational health at the U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), died on May 13.  He was 93.  Stanton served as an engineer for Lodi and Lyndhurst.
