Elaine Kennedy-Mahoney, a former aide to Gov. Brendan Byrne, died this morning. A former Medford Democratic municipal chair, she served as director of MWW’s Trenton office and as director of government affairs for Rowan University.
Mabel Smith Catanese, a former Democratic county committeewoman in Hamilton Township, died on April 24. She was 96 and the last surviving original owner of the legendary Fred And Pete’s Delicatessen.
