Former mayor who led NJ League of Municipalities dies

Bill Baker, a former mayor and councilman in Lopatcong, passed away on February 22.  He was 82. Baker was a past president of the New Jersey League of Municipalities.

Douglas Fink, who initiated and then ran the Department of Technical Services, Division of Communications for Union County for fifteen years, died on February 20.  He was 82.

Norman Howard Reeves, a former deputy chief of detectives for the Gloucester County prosecutor’s office, died on February 13.  He was 75. He won a Purple Heart and Bronze Star while serving in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and is a former Pitman police detective sergeant.

Ben Primer, a Princeton University archivist who worked on staff of U.S. Senator Charles Mathias (R-Maryland), died on February 11.  He was 59.
