Codey Tribute: LaMonica McIver

Rep. LaMonica McIver released the following statement on the death of former Governor Richard J. Codey:

“I’m sending my love and my prayers to the family and friends of former NJ Governor Richard Codey, in light of his passing. Governor Codey was a fierce advocate for the vulnerable in the state of New Jersey and he dedicated his life to making our lives here in the Garden State better. He was a public servant through and through—the longest serving legislator in state history. My heart goes out to the people that love him and I thank him for his profound service to our state.”
