Acting Attorney General Andrew Bruck announced criminal charges today against 11 alleged members of a Camden-based criminal enterprise that sold assault weapons and so-called “ghost guns,” untraceable firearms usually purchased in pieces.
“We are working relentlessly to dismantle the criminal networks that funnel illegal firearms into New Jersey,” Bruck said. “Weapons of war are bloodying the streets of Camden, and we’re committed to cutting the supply lines.”
Twenty guns were seized as part of “Operation Grab and Go,” and alleged members of the criminal ring are also accused of motorcycle theft and distributing illegal drugs.
