Pennacchio backs Ciattarelli for governor

Republican gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli has received the endorsement of State Sen. Joseph Pennacchio (R-Montville), one of the most conservative members of the state legislature and twice the co-chair of Donald Trump’s campaign in New Jersey.

“I’ve been fighting for the America First agenda longer than almost any other Republican in this state, and I have never been more excited about the opportunity we have this year to finally flip New Jersey red and make lasting change for the people of our state,” said Pennacchio, a Morris County Republican.  “I look forward to working with Governor Ciattarelli to do just that.”

Pennacchio, a frequent critic of Gov. Phil Murphy, said New Jersey “can’t afford four more years of radical Democrat control.”

“We need a Governor who will work with President Trump and deliver on his agenda. Jack will be that Governor,” said Pennacchio.   “Jack is a proven fighter who will end Murphy’s sanctuary state policies so that our law enforcement officers can cooperate with ICE to keep our communities safe. He’ll respect the rights of parents and get our schools back to teaching the basics, and he’ll put my proposal into action to DOGE our state government so that we can eliminate wasteful spending and finally cut taxes across the board.”

Pennacchio has been a player in New Jersey politics since 1994 when he ran for Conress.  He served as a Morris County freeholder and assemblyman before winning a State Senate seat in 2007.
