Oliver Tribute: Kevin Rooney

Assemblyman Kevin Rooney (R-Wyckoff) released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:

“I had the distinct pleasure of serving in the General Assembly with Sheila Oliver and am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. As a Board of Education member, Essex County Freeholder, Assemblywoman, Assembly Speaker, and Lieutenant Governor, Sheila was a trailblazer who carved a path for herself in public service with her steadfast dedication to helping her fellow New Jerseyans. She consistently used her wit, charm, and acumen to represent her constituents with honor and effectiveness. My condolences and prayers go out to her family during this most difficult time.”
