Oliver Tribute: Josh Gottheimer

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff) released the following statement on the death of Lieutenant Gov. Sheila Oliver:

“Jersey lost a trailblazer today. Lt. Governor Sheila Oliver was a fighter for the voiceless. She was the first woman of color elected to statewide office in NJ and the first Black woman to serve as NJ’s Speaker of the Assembly. My thoughts are with her family. May her memory be a blessing.”
